Initially attracted to textured plates for their ability to eliminate the need for glue or hairspray, we occasionally faced bed adhesion issues, albeit rarely (about once in every 40+ prints). Intrigued by several positive reviews, I decided to order Wham Bam plates for our print farm to test their performance. These plates promise the best of both worlds—smooth and textured surfaces. So far, they have delivered a smooth finish with zero adhesion problems across the last 70+ prints.
I will be ordering plates for the remainder of my printers.
Works perfectly as expected
These plates have a more course feel. Cannot use a microfiber cloth. Prints just stick! First layers are great. Was using normally and cheap pei, there is a difference here. My second fav are the black pei. However cost is similar but wb quality is on another level. V2.4 350, Micron 180, v0.2 120. All covered I’m whambam!

I have an X1C and K1 Max. When I print ABS on the K1 it use to weld itself to the build plate and take FOREVER to chisel the print off the plant. With the X1C I had the exact opposite problem...getting ABS to stick to the build plate for the whole print was an act of God. With the WHAM Bam plates my ABS issues is gone for BOTH printers!!!
My only complaint is that of the 4 Wham Bam plates I bought, half of them have started flaking their coating especially along the the flow calibration lines. Not a lot, and so far not enough to interfere with a print, but they were a bit pricey to start seeing issues already. At the moment the pros out weight the little bit of flaking, so I do absolutely recommend them.
Both both the XTR Powder Painted PEI and the PEX, and so glad I did. They work so amazingly - wish I had done this sooner!
I wanted a smooth high temperature plate for my A1 mini and I love my Wham Bam Resin Flexi Plates so I figured the price wasn’t much more then Bambi’s. I couldn’t be happier. It’s so easy to clean and install. Temperatures are very consistent. After each print you just give it a little scuff and I wipe it with alcohol. Things that I had adherence issues with on the Stock PEI don't fail on the Wham Bam. I have only printed every variant of PLAs on it and I couldn’t be happier. Plus Wham Bam’s customer support is second to none. After using this I got one for my P1S too. Thanks and keep up the great work.
I had have great success with the plate for the larger BL printers, so I bought one for my mini. It works great, good adhesion and nice smooth bottom surface.
Best plate for pla and other compatible filaments. I love the smooth mirror like finish on the bottom of the prints
Very high quality, feels thicker and more robust than the standard Bambu plates. Texture is nice without being too rough. Fits the bed perfectly.
Setup was very easy on my m3. Only issue I ran into was prints sticking to the plate and being a pain to remove. I was frustrated as no combo of layers or burn in time resulted in them coming off.
I realized I didn't need to sand my plate surface with my printer + resin combo so was really my fault for not test printing and jumping the gun on sanding.
Luckily it's easy to just flip to the other side and bam now my prints pop right off.
Works perfectly on my aftermarket build plates my only complaint is that they’re not labeled but that’s easy to overcome by looking back at the product page.
Fantastic product. Follow the steps on setup. Very important or you will waste your magnetic strip.
have had nothing but a positive experience with the XTR Powder Painted PEI Flexi Plate, have not had to use any sort of adhesive or glue stick for adhesion, prints are coming out great!
In one word. Awesome! Love it. After the first use, i have not stopped using it. This is my go to plate for all my prints. Love it so much i am gonna buy more of them for all my printers!

The flexible platform for the resin printer is a before and after when it comes to taking off the pieces from it. 100% recommendable
If the installation instructions are followed carefully, at least it hasn't given me any problems.
The PEX build plate is a great solution for the Bambu Lab printer and is far superior to all the Bambu plates. I use it with Nano adhesive and ASA filament and have had no adhesion issues. When cool the print lifts off easily. Then a light scrub with alcohol and the included abrasive pad, reapply the Nano and it's ready for the next print. I will be ordering another PEX plate. All my prints come off effortlessly and I don't have to scrape them off!
Bought these for my x1c printers initially when I first bought the printers smooth plates were not readily available that worked. I know people rave about whamBam so they’re expensive but I decided to try a couple. With PETG filament I guess it was not the greatest to print with because it would adhere too well. There were many different things that were tried by wham Bam as far as changing gcode and other users to try to get it to work better rather than having to cover it with some kind of adherent to use as a release agent. filament really sticks to those plates so in that respect, they’re wonderful, but I do print a lot of PETG. I’ve even tried magigoo and Bed weld to be used as a release agent because I am not using glue stick. I graduated from that years and years ago. Bedweld and magigoo did not release so if I have to pay this price for a plate just to have to go back 10 years and smear it with gluestick no I’m not gonna do that.
